The Chronicles of Essington

The Book of Wayne

The Book of Wayne

1. It came to pass that in the year of the Great Games in Londinium a man came to the village and his name was Wayne.

2. He brought with him many things including his wife and child. He was possessed with the likeness of a grey bearded prophet of yonder years

3. He also brought with him three sheds of various colour but of uniform design. He would be be known henceforth as Three Sheds Jesus as his appearance was the same.

4. And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the furthermost shed, a great cloud, and a machine infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of silver and black, out of the midst of the fire, was a mighty machine with a dull thunderous roar.
